Terms and Conditions

1. Who I am

Route 18 is run by Ruby Moore, a sole trader trading as Route 18 (“I”, “me”). You can contact me at hello@route18coaching.co.uk. My business address is 225 Old Clough Lane, Worsley, Manchester M28 7JB, United Kingdom. “You” means the person using the site or making a purchase.

2. Using the site and your account

• You can browse the site without an account. To follow employers or use the tracker you need a free account, which is for people aged 16 and over.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell me straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, scrape it in bulk, access other people's accounts, or share Pro access or paid content with others.
• I may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can close your account at any time by emailing me.

3. The tracker information

• Opportunities and dates come from employers' own websites, the government's Find an Apprenticeship service (Open Government Licence v3.0), job boards and my own research. Each scheme shows where its information came from.
• Employers change dates, open roles early, and close them once they have enough applications, often without notice. Dates marked “expected” or “TBC” are estimates.
• Always check the employer's own website before relying on a date. The tracker is a guide. I can't guarantee it is complete, accurate or up to date, and I'm not responsible for a missed deadline or application.
• I'm not an employer or recruitment agency, and I don't submit applications on your behalf.

4. No guarantee of an offer

Nothing on this site, in the tracker, in the Playbook or in coaching is a promise or guarantee of an apprenticeship offer, interview, place or any other outcome. Coaching improves how you apply and interview; offers are never guaranteed. No refund is due because an offer, interview or place wasn't achieved.

5. Free and Pro plans

• The free plan lets you see every opportunity on the tracker, follow employers, use your personal tracker and read the free guides.
• Pro adds the calendar and phone calendar feed with reminders, every guide, and your own companies. Guides are for your own personal use while you have Pro.
• Route 18 Pro costs £10 a month, including any VAT that applies. It's paid monthly in advance by card through Stripe and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Cancel any time in Settings → Manage subscription. Pro stays on until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. I don't give partial refunds for part-months, except as set out below.
• Your 14-day right to cancel: Pro starts as soon as you subscribe, at your request. If you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing, email me and I'll refund what you paid, less a fair amount for the days you had Pro.
• If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it still can't be taken, your account moves back to the free plan.
• I may change the price of Pro. I'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
• Pro included with The Full Journey lasts 12 months from when it's unlocked. It can be unlocked on one account only, and it isn't exchangeable for cash.

6. Coaching packages

• Coaching (The Full Journey and Interview Sprints) is paid online after a free briefing call. Where the student is under 18, the parent or guardian who pays is the customer.
• Before the first session I'll send the Route 18 Coaching Agreement and Parental Consent Form. The Coaching Agreement sets out how sessions work, including rescheduling (at least 24 hours' notice) and safeguarding. If it conflicts with these terms on how coaching is delivered, the Coaching Agreement applies.
• Your 14-day right to cancel: when you pay, you ask for coaching to be able to start within 14 days. You can cancel within 14 days of paying for a full refund, less the value of any sessions already delivered.
• After that, if you cancel before coaching is complete, you'll be refunded for sessions not yet delivered. Fees for sessions already delivered aren't refundable.
• If I can't deliver something you've paid for, I'll offer another time or refund you for it.

7. The Playbook

• The Playbook is digital content. When you buy it, you get a private link that opens it in your web browser. You can also print it or save it as a PDF. Your answers save in the browser on the device you use, and you can download them at any time.
• Because you get access straight away, you agree when buying that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once you have access. The Playbook isn't refundable after that, unless the file is faulty or not as described. If so, tell me and I'll fix it, replace it or refund you.
• The Playbook is for your own personal use. Please don't share, copy, resell or publish it, or pass on your download link, which has a download limit.

8. Payments

All payments are taken securely by Stripe. I never see or store your full card details. Prices are in pounds sterling. Stripe will email your receipt.

9. Content and intellectual property

The Route 18 name, logo, website, notes, Playbook and coaching materials belong to me. Employer names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify them. Route 18 isn't endorsed by or connected with any employer listed.

10. Liability

• Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. It doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
• I'm not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for missed deadlines, applications or opportunities.
• Otherwise, my total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid me in the 12 months before the claim.

11. The service

I aim to keep the site available, but I can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. I may change or withdraw features. If I stop providing Pro, I'll refund any part of a month you've paid for but can't use.

12. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version you agreed to when you paid applies to that purchase. If I make an important change affecting your Pro subscription, I'll tell you by email before it applies.

13. Complaints and law

If something's not right, email me at hello@route18coaching.co.uk and I'll aim to reply within 5 working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
